Available Roles
Senior Speech Scientist
We are looking for a senior machine learning scientist experienced in speech technology to help us improve our speech-to-speech deep learning model. They should be excited about our mission to give millions of people better economic opportunities by clarifying their speech.
Responsibilities
- Work on improving our speech-to-speech Machine Learning (ML) model, including model architecture, parameter tuning, training.
- Run experiments and iterate on refining ML models
- Collaborate with other scientists and engineers to develop ML models.
- Ensure models and the overall inference pipelines run efficiently on Cloud
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- text-to-speech (TTS) and voice conversion
- Experience with developing and debugging in Python
- Hands on deep learning skills
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD degree in Computer Science, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience
- Experience in deep learning techniques, especially sequence-to-sequence models, encoder/decoder, VQ-VAE, GAN.
- Experience with developing and debugging in Python
- Proven track record in speech technology innovations.
